We only breed pups when both parent have been Optigen Dna eye tested and Antagene Fn tested. All pups that are bred here at Julmared will never go blind from Prcd-Pra or die from the kidney disease Fn. We are very proud to be Kc Accredited Breeders. The aim of the Kennel Clubs Kc Accredited breeder Scheme is to promote good dog breeding practices and to help puppy owners to find responsible breeders.
From July 2010 the Kennel Club Accredited Breeder Scheme changed. Accredited Breeders of Cocker Spaniels now have to DNA health test BOTH parents. Therefore all future litters bred here at Julmared will have both parents dna health tested.
